Le trio de nettoyants pour «bébé propre»

The “clean baby” cleaning trio

Our staff have taken a liking to preparing effective trios for you. With the collaboration of the Au pays des merveilles daycare, here is the trio of cleaners for "clean baby." When your child goes from diapers to underwear, this unfortunately involves "little accidents." To be well prepared, we present our three essential products. First of all : Laundry detergent: The formula is designed to dissolve over 95% in water, preventing soap residue from sticking to clothes. It is therefore ideal for sensitive skin prone to irritation, such as that of babies. The product is suitable for all types of clothing. Multi-surface cleaner: Spray directly onto the surface to be cleaned (the floor or directly onto the small pot) then rub with a damp cloth. Kitchen + bathroom cleaner: This product is ideal for cleaning but especially for disinfecting the surfaces of your child's potty. You will find all these products in a store near you or on the online store: http://www.purebio.net/index.php/points-de-vente We wish a lot of courage and patience to all those who are involved in the bobette project ;)

Total Fabrication s'implique dans un projet de plantation d'arbustes aux abords de la Rivière Kamouraska

Total Fabrication is involved in a shrub planting project along the Kamouraska River

Renaturalization project As the first Canadian company certified Climate Engagement by ECOCERT, our company Total Fabrication was looking for a carbon offset project. When Arbre-Évolution and Obakir approached us about a project to protect the banks of the Kamouraska River at Camp Richelieu in St-Pascal, we immediately loved the project. It aims to preserve the banks in eroded areas and increase forest cover. More than 60 plants were planted along the river, over a width of more than 2 meters. In addition, the project was enhanced by adding an edible component. "The grounds of Camp Richelieu seemed ideal to us for a 'gourmet landscape' and, since we have expertise in this field, it seemed essential to suggest this addition," says Simon Côté, Arbre-Évolution coordinator. Once said, it was done, on Monday, June 19, 2017, 20 trees and 40 shrubs were planted at Camp Richelieu in St-Pascal. A win-win partnership The development of Camp Richelieu includes the creation of a 350m trail, the addition of a new platform to facilitate fishing, and two new access points to the river made of wood and stone. "For us, it's a way of being consistent with our commitments to the planet. For OBAKIR and the City of St-Pascal, our involvement helps reduce the bill!" explains Denis Beaulieu, President of Total Fabrication.

Fosses septiques et plan d’eau à proximité : quels ingrédients à éviter dans vos produits ménagers?

Septic Tanks and Water Bodies Nearby: What Ingredients to Avoid in Your Household Products?

Do you have a septic tank? Is your residence located near a water body? There are ingredients to avoid in order to protect the ecosystem of our lakes and rivers. Our products are made: Without phosphate Without chlorine Without toxic acid And without any harmful products to the environment, especially for high-risk areas such as the use of a septic tank or a water body near a residence. Additionally, since our products are mostly highly concentrated and require little product for use, the reduced use of products also has a positive impact on septic system maintenance and the environmental footprint. The absence of phosphate in our products helps prevent the proliferation of blue-green algae in our lakes and rivers, which are harmful to health and damaging to the health of water bodies, their vegetation, and the species attached to them. Good pratices Here are some good practices to adopt when you have a septic tank: Avoid using a garbage disposal Minimize the use of potable water (shower, faucets, toilets, etc.) Avoid discharging these types of products into your drains (list taken from the good practices guide by the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment, and the Fight Against Climate Change): Paints Toxic or flammable products Floor waxes, carpet cleaners Drain cleaners Chlorine, chlorides, spa or pool maintenance products Medications Cat litter, tea bags, ground coffee, eggshells, dryer lint, and cigarette butts Newspapers, paper towels, sanitary napkins, diapers, and condoms Cooking oils and fats, body oils Fabrics and hair You can have peace of mind while respecting the environment around you.Sources: Quebec Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment, and the Fight Against Climate Change website.

Ménage express

Express cleaning

When family and friends drop in unexpectedly, we love it, but we also like things to be clean to welcome them. So, here are a few simple steps to help you think efficiently for a quick, quick cleanup (15 minutes max, we promise!). Gather your products and accessories in a bin or basket. This will save you from running around looking for your products. Consider cleaning the rooms where your guests will be: the kitchen, bathroom and living room. "Let's do this." Let's start with the bathroom: empty the trash. Spray the toilet bowl and sink with the kitchen + bathroom cleaner, let it sit for a few seconds, scrub, then rinse. Use the multi-surface cleaner to clean the mirror quickly, but above all, well! (Sorry, but you won't really get any credit since it leaves no streaks, ever ;)) To add a little extra, place your favorite scent of moisturizing hand cleaner next to the sink, your guests will appreciate it, it's guaranteed, or even a spray of an Onature room fragrance. Kitchen: Got dirty dishes lying around? Wash them in minutes with our ultra-concentrated dishwashing liquid—dirt won't be able to resist it. Or, put everything in your dishwasher and use Pure tablets. Wash your countertops quickly with our multi-surface cleaner. And there you have it! Living Room: Quick, there are two minutes left! Put away any cushions, stuffed animals, decorations, or other items that are lying around. One trick is to have a nice storage bin in the living room; it's really practical! So, it's time to relax with your guests. ☺ #jesuispure #springpure

Ecocert Engagement climat

Ecocert Climate Commitment

Total Fabrication, from St-Alexandre-de-Kamouraska, becomes the first Canadian company certified Ecocert Climate Engagement. Total Fabrication is proud to announce that it is the first Canadian company to receive the Climate Commitment certification from the Ecocert International group since December 21, 2016. After a certification process with Ecocert lasting more than six months, Total Fabrication was able to calculate its greenhouse gas emissions and implement a reduction plan and a sustainable development policy. These innovative initiatives are directly aligned with the company's mission. Ecocert is an international organization founded in France in the early 1990s with a presence in Canada, more specifically in Lévis. Since Total Fabrication has been intrinsically linked to environmental causes through its mission and service offerings since its very beginnings, it was important to structure our approach with the help of an external certification organization to better position our social commitment to the environment. Ecocert's global reputation, combined with the Climate Commitment certification newly introduced in Canada in 2016, provided Total Fabrication with the ideal opportunity to implement this certification project. Daily commitment In 2017, we partnered with the Arbre évolution organization in L'Islet to participate in a tree planting and greenhouse gas offsetting project. Finally, we invite the public, and especially businesses, to consider all the actions that can make a difference in reducing air pollution. More and more concrete actions not only reduce our impact on the environment, but also reduce our expenses. To help reduce waste and plastic, Pure by Total Fabrication products allow for the reuse of containers through bulk refilling. Consult the list of points of sale at www.purebio.net/points-de-vente to find the refilling station nearest you. ECOCERT CERTIFICATE.PDF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT POLICY.PDF

Un environnement propre et en santé pour nos animaux

A clean and healthy environment for our animals

For us, health and cleanliness are inseparable in a safe home free from harmful chemicals. From babies to seniors, air quality and clean surfaces are essential for a healthy home. This is also true for your cat, dog, rabbit—in short, all your pets! Here are some tips and tricks we've prepared for you to protect everyone in the house, even your furry 4-legged love. 1. Choose a laundry detergent suitable for sensitive skin Pure laundry detergents are designed for even the most sensitive skin with gentle ingredients and essential oil-based aromas. The formulas are hypoallergenic to minimize the risk of irritation and allergies. Whether you're cleaning your pet's bed, blanket, or even stuffed animals, it's best to use a safe and skin-friendly laundry detergent. This way, you avoid exposing your pets to skin irritation. Additionally, cleaning the bed regularly will eliminate bacteria and odors in the home. Between washes, spray the bed and the areas most frequently used by your pet with oNature laundry water. The product will remove accumulated bad odors and the natural cleanliness smell will please both you and your pet. Please note: as with humans, some animals have allergic skin, therefore extremely sensitive, in this case it is preferable to use unscented laundry detergent to avoid any possibility of allergic reactions in your animal. 2. Washing your pet Just like our laundry detergents, our body care products are also made with essential oils and hypoallergenic for even the most sensitive skin. To give your pet a good bath, our moisturizing shampoo is ideal for their coat and skin. 3. Window cleaner: It's well known that dogs and cats love to look out the window. They often stick their noses to their skin, and even their tongues leave marks there. For their safety, and since we know that nose will stick back very soon, we suggest you avoid cleaning products containing ammonia, as these are harmful to the respiratory tract and skin. This multi-surface cleaner doesn't contain any. Plus, it's very gentle and safe for your pet, quickly removing dirt without leaving any traces or residue. 4. Floor cleaner: Pets often spend more time lying on the floor than in their beds. Not to mention the gluttons who run around eating the food crumbs that end up on the floor (no one is infallible, and these gluttons see everything). That's why it's important to clean your floors with good, safe products. Multi-purpose cleaners are ideal because they don't contain any chemical ingredients that are harmful to your pet's health. Plus, they contain an anti-static agent that prevents your pet's hair from sticking to surfaces during and after cleaning. This makes daily maintenance easier and prevents you from getting out the mop too quickly. With a delicate rosewater aroma, it also makes the experience of washing your floors more pleasant for you and your four-legged best friend. *Good to know: Obviously, none of our products and ingredients are tested on animals and never will be. We love these little creatures! ♥ The Pure Team

Découvrez comment nettoyer en santé avec des produits d'ici

Discover how to clean healthily with local products

Here are some interesting questions to ask yourself. As you prepare to clean your home, how many different products will you use? Where do these products come from? Do you know their composition? This little exercise will allow you to see what's cluttering your cupboards and perhaps even make some somewhat disconcerting discoveries. Like most Canadian families, you use between 20 and 40 liters of all kinds of cleaners in your home each year for cleaning, laundry, disinfecting, and freshening up your home. Many of these household products contain potentially harmful substances that are absorbed by your skin and respiratory tract. They have names that make us lose our Latin, and the list is long: ammonia, benzene, cresol, nonylphenol, formaldehyde, pesticides, phthalates, toluene, and more. In concrete terms, every time you spray, spread, or mop with household products containing these ingredients, you are releasing toxic substances onto the surfaces and air in your home. According to a study by George Washington University, more than 45 substances harmful to health are hidden in the dust in our homes, with 10 of the most toxic being present in 90% of homes. Although it remains to be proven beyond doubt that these substances can cause several major health problems (asthma, cancer, chronic diseases or serious allergies), repeated exposure to these substances has been shown to contribute to a host of symptoms: headaches, fatigue, shortness of breath, sinus congestion, coughing, sneezing, skin irritation, dizziness, nausea, irritation of the eyes, nose and throat. It is even more important to choose your household cleaning products wisely when babies and children live in the house because they are often in contact with floors and countertops and they are often wearing freshly washed clothes. Pets are no exception either... Are we all already affected by these everyday products? Perhaps, but there are solutions, and they don't involve resorting to lemon and vinegar. A good idea is to buy products made by companies that have chosen not to use these toxic substances and that demonstrate transparency by clearly indicating on their containers all the ingredients used in the manufacture of their products. These companies comply with international environmental standards and are often certified by an external organization like Ecocert. This is the case for oNature brands, which offer healthy home fragrances, and PURE, which offers biodegradable cleaning products. These brands are made in Quebec and the formulations are free of harmful chemicals.   Here are the links to the brands' websites: www.onature.ca www.purebio.net Here are some links to learn more about the toxicity of household cleaning products: http://www.davidsuzuki.org/fr/ http://www.ewg.org/guides/cleaners http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/14/health/toxic-chemicals-house-dust/index.html http://ici.radio-canada.ca/premiere/emissions/les-eclaireurs/segments/chronique/14811/produits-nettoyants-dangereux-sante-environnement   SOURCES: http://publichealth.gwu.edu/departments/environmental-and-occupational-health/ami-zota ATSDR, 2004: 'ToxFAQsTM: Ammonia', http://www.atsdr.cdc.gov/toxfaqs/TF.asp?id=10&tid=2. Récurer les taches tenaces sans produits chimiques nocifs, oui c'est possible!

Scrubbing tough stains without harmful chemicals, yes it's possible!

The scouring cream (aka ceramic glass cleaner) is a multi-action product for stubborn stains. It will surprise you not only with its versatility, but especially with its effectiveness thanks to its granular texture. Plus, it leaves a fresh orange-sliced aroma throughout your home. Definitely one of our favorites! Easy to use, this product has been specially designed to remove stuck-on food or grease from your kitchen. Ideal for cleaning ceramic hobs, the inside of ovens, and the inside of refrigerators. *Tip: Use it to clean your pots. It will remove even the toughest dirt and your pots will stay clean and shiny for years to come. Contrary to popular belief, this product is ideal for cleaning the bathroom. It removes limescale deposits and soap residue from the shower, bath, and sink thanks to its scouring power. Even better, use it to remove dirt stuck to shower windows. Use the scouring sponge provided with the product for a flawless job! *Tip: After thoroughly cleaning your shower windows with the scouring cream and sponge, spray the multi-surface cleaner all over the window and then wipe with a soft cloth. The beading agent in the multi-surface cleaner will make the water bead, which will prevent limescale deposits or soap residue from easily sticking to the windows. Une lessive efficace sans compromis

Effective laundry without compromise

Pure laundry detergent is designed for the whole family, including baby and your pet's blanket. The formula contains high-performance ingredients that remove the toughest stains, soften fabrics, and reduce static electricity. The product dissolves over 95% in water, which greatly reduces deposits and residue on clothing. It is therefore ideal for people with sensitive skin, especially babies' skin. Additionally, the laundry detergent formulation is also suitable for cleaning high-performance clothing, jerseys and waterproof fabrics. *Tip: Use it as a stain remover directly on the stain, rub then wash it! The aromas combine essential oils and gentle fragrances developed in collaboration with the oNature team. The formulas and fragrances contain no harmful chemicals. Did you know... Optical brighteners, found in many popular detergents, are synthetic chemicals added to detergents solely to make your clothes appear whiter and cleaner, but not necessarily so? Of course, our products don't contain them! Laundry detergent is sold in regular size at a very competitive price and also in bulk. Its ultra-concentrated formula allows you to do more loads per liter. Simply add 25 mL of product to a load for a high-efficiency washing machine and 40 mL of product for a conventional washing machine. An overdose of product will not make your clothes cleaner, but will only create waste. ;) The choice is logical: a more concentrated product, buying in bulk = savings for you. Above all, you're making an eco-responsible gesture and reducing your plastic consumption. *Good to know: When you buy in bulk, you get 25% off each refill in store! To purchase laundry detergent, visit one of our nearest retail outlets or our online store. Happy washing! #jesuispure
