Triclosan: Chemical and Useless

Le Triclosan : chimique et inutile

An analysis by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has shown that antibacterial soaps, made with harmful chemicals including Triclosan , clearly do not provide the desired results.

Since the product is rinsed off almost immediately, regular hand soap and water are just as effective at killing germs and bacteria. However, a disinfectant (preferably without Triclosan) intended for home, daycare, or other areas will remain more effective since its active effect continues to last since the product is not rinsed off.

Although Triclosan poses a health risk, it is still not banned in Canada and is unfortunately found in many hygiene products. We would also like to emphasize that we do not use Triclosan in any of our products.

In short, there is no need to expose your family to these chemical ingredients; you just need to apply good hand hygiene practices with the right products. :)
