Ecocert Engagement climat

Total Fabrication, from St-Alexandre-de-Kamouraska, becomes the first Canadian company certified Ecocert Climate Engagement.

Total Fabrication is proud to announce that it is the first Canadian company to receive the Climate Commitment certification from the Ecocert International group since December 21, 2016.

After a certification process with Ecocert lasting more than six months, Total Fabrication was able to calculate its greenhouse gas emissions and implement a reduction plan and a sustainable development policy. These innovative initiatives are directly aligned with the company's mission.

Ecocert is an international organization founded in France in the early 1990s with a presence in Canada, more specifically in Lévis. Since Total Fabrication has been intrinsically linked to environmental causes through its mission and service offerings since its very beginnings, it was important to structure our approach with the help of an external certification organization to better position our social commitment to the environment.

Ecocert's global reputation, combined with the Climate Commitment certification newly introduced in Canada in 2016, provided Total Fabrication with the ideal opportunity to implement this certification project.

Daily commitment

In 2017, we partnered with the Arbre évolution organization in L'Islet to participate in a tree planting and greenhouse gas offsetting project.

Finally, we invite the public, and especially businesses, to consider all the actions that can make a difference in reducing air pollution. More and more concrete actions not only reduce our impact on the environment, but also reduce our expenses.

To help reduce waste and plastic, Pure by Total Fabrication products allow for the reuse of containers through bulk refilling. Consult the list of points of sale at www.purebio.net/points-de-vente to find the refilling station nearest you.
